Still, you'll find fewer I'm not an expert, but have been to Palm Springs a few times during the summer. August is hot, but not too hot to swim. To me, it is the perfect time to hang out in and around the pool all day. Residents do tend to leave during the summer, but it is far from everything being shut down.
